Jeff Copsetta is a U.S. Army veteran, historian, educator, and museum leader with a lifelong commitment to preserving military history and honoring America’s veterans. A former Sergeant and 19D Cavalry Scout, he deployed to Baghdad from 2004 to 2005 with F Troop, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom II, serving as a machine gunner with the Brigade Commander’s Private Security Detachment.

    Following his military service, Jeff became Living History Director at the National Museum of the Pacific War (2016–2021), where he helped educate audiences through immersive programs, live demonstrations, and historically accurate reenactments. His expertise has also extended to film and television, including appearances on the History Channel’s Brothers in Arms and work as an actor, military advisor, and award-winning costume designer for the WWII film Walking Point.

    Jeff later served as Director of the Highland Lakes Squadron Air Museum (2021–2023) and has co-hosted the What’s The Scuttlebutt WWII podcast since 2020. He has taught high school history since 2021 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating Sigma Cum Laude in 2025.

    As President of the Conservators of the Greatest Generation (COGG), Jeff brings together military experience, museum leadership, and educational vision to guide a national effort to preserve WWII history and ensure the legacy of the Greatest Generation endures.
